Artist's Description

Realistic acrylic painting and portrait created by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering of the Italian artist Andrea Patrisi with one of his paintings of a picturesque Mediterranean harbour. The original painting measures 120 x 90 cm.

Andrea Patrisi was born in Naples in 1954. Patrisi has had a passion for art since childhood and is intensely active in his artistic work. He has participated with great success in numerous group and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

Patrisi went to the Art Institute and developed his own style. His bold strokes and moody colours give each painting its own distinctive appeal. Preferring rustic scenes, landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes, especially with canals, Patrisi's talent and charisma have made him a favourite among collectors. His works can be found in public and private collections around the world.

Paul then left the academy to work for a living, but at the back of his mind there always loomed the passion of his life: to paint. At his spare time...
