Realistic acrylic painting, painted by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering, of Nathalie Picoulet painting one of her masterpieces. The original painting is 90 x 90 cm.

Nathalie Picoulet is an internationally renowned artist. A pastel specialist, she has exhibited her hyper-realistic portraits of women on many occasions, notably at the Grand Palais (Paris).

Nathalie Picoulet was born in Amiens in 1968. Fascinated by drawing, she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Higher School of Design in Amiens. She soon turned to art history and eventually chose an artistic career. She discovered pastel, which will remain her favourite technique, and with this medium she approaches the subject of women.

Each work by the pastelist is the fruit of immense work, of patience and precision, and a soft and penetrating emotion emerges through her incredible technical mastery. In 2005, she was named Master Pastelliste by the Société des Pastellistes de France and in 2018, she won first prize at the Salon Art Capital at the Grand Palais (Paris).
